Vortex System
Caruth offers a full, turnkey Vortex system solution. During development, Caruth designs and installs the Vortex system. Once the building is occupied, Caruth inspects, services and monitors the building’s Vortex system to verify that the system is compliant and operating as intended.
Purpose
The Victaulic Vortex™ Hybrid Fire Extinguishing System is an innovative fire suppression technology that combines water mist and nitrogen to rapidly extinguish fires. It utilizes a vortex nozzle to create a swirling water mist, which is then mixed with nitrogen to form an inert gas atmosphere. This combination suppresses the fire by reducing oxygen levels, cooling the environment, and disrupting the combustion process. The system is effective for protecting various applications, including data centers, telecommunications facilities, power plants, and other critical infrastructure.
